She comes in colors everywhere...

Choices. Remember when a box of 64 was a fantasy come true? The choice of colors... the names... violet red, sea green, sky blue, cerulean... the infinite possibilities...

I am once again faced with choices. Infinite possibilities. And yet, once again, I stand alone.

I had a client here today. I can truly call her a dear friend. We were discussing one of her projects. We pulled out that box of crayons... it was sitting there... we talked, and we colored. She'll be 75 this year. She kicked my ass. With a huge dose of reality. I think I will frame the results.

She's like a rainbow...

Hi Dianne,

Wow I was amazed when I saw your blog post. Yesterday I was walking into work and said to myself, I really really want a box of 64 crayons like I had when I was a kid, with the little sharpener in the back. Burnt sienna, cornflower, yellow ochre, midnight blue ... I am getting a box and a new sketch pad this weekend. You've inspired me!!

Love, your old friend, Sue Tierney

Hi Sue,

That makes me so happy! Sometimes you just have to go back to basics... this was Christopher's box from so many years ago.

I'd love to see what you create with them, I always loved your drawings...

Enjoy your infinite possibilities!

Wish I was talented.

Star, just pull out some crayons, pencil, pen...whatever, and enjoy... I keep notebooks as I work and I find that I do a lot of doodles as I go through a thought process... relaxing in the moment and fun to look at down the road... I was at the Cluny Sorbonne metro stop today. My next project is a mosaic. I know exactly what I want to do, just need to find the time, and learn how! :-)
