Much of our trip was spent in the backseat of our car going from one temple to the next, one hotel to the next. We quickly figured out that stopping for a "shot" was not going to happen. Thus, many of the photos are "drive-by shots", which includes the blurs.
This shot was taken as we were heading towards Dambulla. People use the side of the road as we would use a sidewalk, it's there, it's open, but it's the side of the road! This backseat shot from the moving car of these girls floored me. Their innocence, and their sudden awareness in a split second that they were being photographed was amazing.
Today was wonderful. From the lunch through the vernissage. Wonderful. Our Sri Lankan guests were pleased, we were happy and the show looks great!
